Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 30 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Signature Resin Paving website and to enquiries, quotations and services provided by Signature Resin Paving (“SRP”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using our website, requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Website Use

The information on this website is provided for general information only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and current, project suitability, pricing, availability, installation requirements and expected results must be confirmed through a written quotation or service agreement.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access or use its content for unlawful purposes.

Quotes and Project Assessments

Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including photographs, plans, measurements, site inspections and details provided by the customer.

Unless otherwise stated, a quote is valid for the period shown on the quote and may be withdrawn or revised before acceptance.

A preliminary estimate provided without a complete site inspection may change after the site, measurements, access and existing surface conditions have been assessed.

The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate project information. SRP is not responsible for additional costs or delays caused by incomplete, inaccurate or undisclosed information.

Scope of Work

The agreed work will be described in the accepted quotation, proposal or service agreement.

Any item not expressly included in the written scope is excluded. Additional preparation, repairs, excavation, removal, drainage work, levelling, waterproofing or other services will only be included where stated.

If a separate written contract is required under Victorian law, that contract will apply to the project and will take priority over these general website terms where there is any inconsistency.

Existing Surfaces and Site Conditions

Resin paving and resurfacing depend on the condition, stability, drainage and suitability of the existing substrate.

Hidden cracks, moisture, movement, contamination, inadequate drainage, structural defects, unstable foundations or other concealed conditions may not be identifiable before work begins.

If unexpected conditions are discovered, SRP will notify the customer and explain any recommended additional work, cost or change to the expected timeframe before proceeding where required.

SRP is not responsible for defects caused by movement, failure or deterioration of an existing structure or substrate that is outside the agreed scope of work.

Natural Materials and Appearance

Natural stone and aggregate may contain variations in colour, tone, size and texture. Samples, photographs, website images and display materials are representative only and may not appear identical to the completed installation.

Lighting, surrounding colours, installation conditions and different production batches may also affect the finished appearance.

Minor natural variation does not by itself constitute a defect.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work area at the agreed times.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for removing vehicles, furniture, pot plants, personal belongings, pets and other obstructions before work begins.

The customer must disclose known underground services, drainage issues, structural problems, waterproofing concerns or other site hazards that may affect the work.

Children, pets and unauthorised people must remain outside the work area during installation and curing.

Variations

Any requested change to the agreed scope, materials, design, colour, quantities or installation method may affect the price and completion timeframe.

Variations must be discussed and approved in writing before the additional or changed work proceeds, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety or to prevent property damage.

Where Victorian domestic-building legislation applies, variations will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements and project contract.

Deposits and Payments

Deposit, progress-payment and final-payment requirements will be stated in the quotation or service agreement and must comply with any applicable law.

Payments must be made by the due dates shown on the invoice.

The customer should not make payment to amended bank details unless those details have been independently confirmed with SRP using a trusted contact method.

Final payment is due in accordance with the accepted quotation or contract. Nothing in these terms removes any right a customer may have under Australian Consumer Law or applicable Victorian building legislation.

Scheduling and Delays

Any commencement or completion date provided is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a fixed date in writing.

Work may be affected by weather, rain, temperature, moisture, curing conditions, material availability, supplier delays, access restrictions, site conditions, customer-requested changes or events beyond our reasonable control.

We will communicate material delays and take reasonable steps to complete the work within the agreed timeframe or, where no timeframe has been agreed, within a reasonable time.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be stated in the accepted quotation or service agreement.

If a customer cancels after materials have been ordered, custom products have been prepared or work has commenced, the customer may be required to pay reasonable costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by law.

Any statutory cooling-off rights that apply under Victorian law will continue to apply and are not limited by these terms.

Completion and Care

The customer must follow all written curing, access, cleaning, maintenance and aftercare instructions provided by SRP.

Walking, driving, placing furniture or exposing the surface to water, chemicals or heavy loads before the advised curing time may damage the finish.

Damage caused by misuse, impact, harsh chemicals, unsuitable cleaning methods, structural movement, drainage failure, third-party work or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered by an additional workmanship warranty.

Warranties and Consumer Rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Where those laws apply, services must be provided with due care and skill, be reasonably fit for an agreed purpose and be supplied within the agreed timeframe or a reasonable time.

Any additional written warranty provided by SRP operates alongside these legal rights and does not replace or limit them.

Specific warranty periods, coverage, exclusions and claim procedures will be stated in the relevant quotation, contract or warranty document.

Reporting Concerns

The customer should inspect the completed work and notify SRP promptly if there is a concern.

SRP must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work and, where appropriate, provide a remedy before another contractor alters or repairs the affected area.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy available under Australian Consumer Law or applicable building legislation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SRP is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Website Images and Project Results

Website photographs and project images are provided as examples of previous work and possible finishes. Results will vary according to the selected material, existing substrate, site conditions, lighting and project requirements.

We will obtain permission before using identifiable customer or private-property information for promotional purposes where consent is required.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Victoria, subject to any rights that apply under Australian law.

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The latest version will be published on our website with an updated effective date.
